This is early New Years Day right after 12:00. My family is flinging poppers to celebrate.
Our family has a tradition in which one of us accidentally breaks a kitchen utensil that has 
a wooden handle on New Years Day. In past years it has been spoons. But this year, I broke an ancient knife while cutting the chocolate silk pie. With this diffferent twist, I wonder what the rest of 2010 will be like!
